Affiliate programs work as a form of referral, where you recommend potential clients to the service. Affiliate programs benefit from network marketing, which will then result to increased sales. To effectively market this, using the product is the best way. You can better recommend the products in a more believable manner, when you've tried it yourself.
Becoming a reseller is a step beyond affiliate programs, although reseller programs normally charge a small fee before you can join them. Resellers are essentially retailers.
