Once you complete that senior year in high school, you're about to begin one of the most exciting parts of your life. Starting college is such a surreal, yet overwhelming experience. If you're anything like I was, you can't wait to get out from under your parent's roof and begin making new friends and trying new things. This is a major growing up phase. However, I'm not saying that you have to venture off to a university in some distant state. While this may have been necessary in the past depending on the major you're after, it's no longer an issue. Welcome to the era of Internet college. So much can be accomplished from your home.

They don't call it Internet college for nothing. Whether you knew it or not, so much of your higher education can be acquired without sitting in a musty classroom. And trust me when I tell you, some of those university classrooms are funky and hot. Anyway, this is a wonderful nuance for college students of all ages. It doesn't matter if you're fresh out of high school or 45 with two children and a full-time job. You can sign up for classes and attend an Internet college at your convenience. This is the perfect solution for stay-at-home moms. There's no reason to struggle with your daily regime and fight to fit in a night class or two. Deal with your college courses completely from your PC or Mac. As long as you have an updated personal computer with Internet access, you'll be good to go. When I was finishing up with university life a few years back, Internet college was just surfacing. But now online schooling is in full swing. You'd have to be crazy not to take full advantage of this ideal convenience.

 Bit of History
The soul knows only the soul; the web of events is the flowing robe in which she is clothed.
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Pick what ever university or community college you please. I'll bet they offer plenty of Internet college courses. You can even mix it up and schedule some classes for on campus and a few online. This really makes your schedule easier to balance. And chances are you'll love the much-needed break of lounging in your apartment or dorm room with a laptop. Now that's the way to take a class. No boring lecture to sit through and you don't even have to get ready. See what online courses would be right for your future today.
