Wireless Internet

I still relish the days of dial-up Internet service. Ah how wonderful it was to log onto the web through a phone line. First you heard the dial-in, then came the horrific screeching sounds, and finally you were safely online, ready to surf the web. Of course you could barely pull up a single website, because the connection speed was ridiculously slow. Then there was the whole issue with someone in your house picking up the phone. Naturally this would typically boot you off. Yes indeed, those were good times. So how in the world did we ever evolve to high-speed wireless Internet? This absolutely blows my mind. Suddenly we're surfing net-land with ease and at the speed we desire. Wow, has Internet connection come a long way since the dreadful days of dial-up!

If you own a computer, which I'm almost positive you do, you're probably taking advantage of high-speed wireless Internet. This has become the norm! We all reveled in the wondrous upgrade known as cable high-speed Internet service, but then they took it a step further and made the wires obsolete. Thanks the Lord! If you had a set-up like mine, then you surely know how all those wires and cords can get in the way of things. Not to mention they're certainly a safety hazard in any home. No worries! Now we're all reaping the benefits of wireless Internet service. You can literally tote your laptop or notebook computer all over the house, and even outdoors, while staying jacked into cyberspace. This makes life so much easier for all of us Internet nuts.

 Historical Quote
The web of domination has become the web of Reason itself, and this society is fatally entangled in it.
—Herbert Marcuse (1898–1979)

It can be a challenge deciding what wireless Internet provider to go with. Especially since there are several to choose from. Some of them being Comcast, RoadRunner, Juniper, and Verizon. Personally I chose RoadRunner due to the package deal they offer including digital phone and cable TV access. This way there's only one low monthly payment. Thus far this high-speed wireless Internet service has been great. If by some chance you're still using dial-up, it's high time you make the switch to high-speed Internet access. So much more can be accomplished on the web in so much less time. Plus, once you make the switch from dial-up, you'll never go back to the snail-slow phone line connection. Wireless Internet is where it's at!
